12/5 = 2.4 * 5 = 12
So 12 % 4 is? Using my tip above (Any number greater x that is greater than y (x &gt; y), you subtract the x from y (x-y) to get the mod.) 12-4 = 8. 8 mod 4 = 8-4 = 4. 4 mod 4 = 0!
